Suzuka

The Suzuka 4 hour endurance was the first event of the day ending in a climactic last corner win or bin. After being passed by #88 on the penultimate lap # 6 caught him again and passed him going into the last chicane, 88 was having none of it and tried re passing on the exit. It all went a little pear shaped and they both went down. They both re mounted and 6 got the win. Now we were going to have to race against these crazy Japanese! Read more..

Suzuka Day 1

For some reason the Suzuka officials had stuck us and a few other teams in a hotel and 10 minutes driving from the circuit. All the others would be at one of the luxury hotels on campus this meant we would have to catch a shuttle bus everyday. Leroy knocked us up at 07:50. We caught the shuttle bus to the circuit where we would have breakfast in one of the hotels. Read more..

Monday 23rd July

The weekend before I was due to fly to Japan I took one of my 1943 jeeps to the War & Peace show for a long weekend of far too much drinking and driving around in mud up to your knees. Hi everyone here’s a short video put together by one of Maco Moto’s French followers Christian. I had the pleasure of meeting Christian at Le Mans this year. Christian is a hardcore endurance fan, he spent the whole race week with the team, supporting all of us throughout the entire 24 hours of the race.
